This workshop is designed to invigorate your painting desires and your passion for using the Rottnest theme as a platform for implementing new and learned skills; to create artworks that can be further developed later, or shown in your next exhibition.
By being on location:
- you will be able to gather your own photographic references whenever the time is right!
- prepare your compositions as initial sketches; refer to details at the scene.
- paint “en plein air” with other artists.
- explore new territories, see familiar scenes with a fresh mind.
Tuition is presented in the form of demonstrations in acrylic, oil, pastel and gouache mediums, as well as directional responses to your own approach; developing skills and ideas that you have been using so as to nurture your natural style. An extensive library of art books, music, reference material, computer access and painting tips is also provided.
Accommodation is twin share, in comfortable cottages, right on the beachfront. Both locations offer spacious studio space and incredible views.
All meals and snacks have been coordinated by a qualified nutritionist and are included in the cost.
