Biography
I have been painting for many years, since my devotion to studying art and various other creative and artistic courses.
These days, my life is my canvas. My forte are pastels. Luscious and textural. Using them gives me the freedom to express emotion. The quality of the pigment allows for longevity that can be appreciated for years to come.
My inspiration comes from life itself. Traveling with a camera allows me, to capture locations I find interesting and be my source of information for a later date. I love painting seascapes. I never tire of the ocean and it’s ever-changing colours, wave formations and tidal flow as each season changes. I love the smell of the salt and sand in the air, ocean breezes and the feel of sand between the toes.
I’ve exhibited in many art exhibitions in Perth and surrounding country areas. My art is in private collections in Australia and throughout the world as commissioned and non-commissioned pieces.
